Her knack for diversity enables her students to develop an all inclusive musicianship while exploring a wide variety of musical styles.
Jodi Russell served as the President of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association collegiate chapter of Westminster Choir College where she obtained her Masters of Music in Piano Pedagogy and Piano Performance. She also graduated with honors from VCU where she holds her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. Jodi has taught preschool through college level students as well as working adults and senior citizens with a wide variety of backgrounds, musical goals, and learning styles. Lessons include musicality, ear training, technique, music theory, improvisation, composition and the development of relaxed movement at the piano. Her main goal is to create well-rounded students who can play the piano confidently at any level. All students have the opportunity to share their musical growth at master classes and recitals that are held throughout the year.
